Coastal conditions
Tides, weather, water quality, and nearby overflow alerts
Guests often plan beach walks, swims, and paddle boarding around the tide. This section
pulls together the most useful local checks in one place, with Low Newton conditions first
and a nearby live overflow alert link for extra peace of mind.
For a fuller overview of the village itself, see the
Newton-by-the-Sea guide
for beach details, walking ideas, tide times, swimming information, weather, and water quality.
Low Newton does not currently have its own public live sewage-alert page, so Beadnell is
included as the nearest quick check up the coast.
We also support
Surfers Against Sewage,
whose wider work helps shine a light on water quality, sewage discharges, and cleaner seas
around the UK.
