Sutherland Cottage sits right on the beach in Low Newton, one of the most loved villages on the Northumberland coast. It is the kind of place people return to for years: simple, warm, comfortable, and rooted in the rhythms of sea, weather, and long walks.
Inside, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a newly fitted shower room, a cosy living room with a log-burning stove, and two bedrooms that make it ideal for couples or a young family. Outside, the private terrace catches the light beautifully and opens straight onto the beach.
Expect beach days, pub lunches, sea swims, castle walks, and evenings by the fire.

It is around 20 minutes from Alnmouth station, 15 minutes from the A1, about an hour from Newcastle, and roughly two hours from Edinburgh.
