The cottage is situated in the square, at Low-Newton-by-the-Sea, across the green from The Ship Inn and Brewery. There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the house, and more parking in the public car park at the top of the hill if needed.

It is only 20 minutes drive to Alnmouth train station, which is on the East coast Train line between London and Aberdeen. It is 15 minutes drive from the A1, 1 hour from Newcastle, and 2 hours from Edinburgh.
